Tuesday/Thursdays

Tuesday/Thursdays are some of my favorite days.  John is home from school and boy does he love an adventure.  We spend lots of time out walking the neighborhood and just enjoying being at home.

I've never had time with just a three year old before and boy is it fun!  Next year will be an adjustment.

A Good Report

This week Philip and I traveled to Atlanta with GranGran, Aunt Susan, and Campbell for Elizabeth's baby shower.  Mary Dawson met us there.  It was such fun to get to spend time with everyone...even if it was brief.  Elizabeth's shower was very nice...and her nursery is almost complete.  Unfortunately, I didn't take a single picture...other than a few selfies!

On Monday, Philip and I headed off to an appointment with Dr. Schrader.  We received the good news that his bone has begun growing back.  The process will take time, but this news was a huge step in the right direction.  Dr. Schrader is even allowing him some weight-bearing time out of the brace!

So pleased with the good report!
