Elizabeth's Wedding...the Tourist Stops

Everyone was excited about our trip to Atlanta.  Most of our time was spent doing wedding things, but we did fit in a few tourist stops.  First, staying in a hotel was a huge hit!!

Six in one room is tight, but we did alright.  The boys loved going downstairs and having breakfast with GranGran and PopPop every morning!

On Saturday, we did the one thing Philip and Daniel have been asking to do for years...Legoland!!

It was pretty cool, but we went through it quickly.  Also, the exit through the Lego store cost us a few bucks!

On Sunday, we ventured downtown via the Marta.  John was pumped about riding in a train!

We walked to the Georgia Aquarium.  It was great but this time we didn't have the time to see everything it had to offer.  We did get through about half of it.

Sweet Daddy carried Philip all through downtown and in the aquarium so he wouldn't overwork his leg.  Chris never complained but I carried John for a little bit and know how much work it must have been!

Before we knew it, it was time for Daddy and the older three to head to the stadium for a Falcons game.  John and I headed back to the hotel for a nap.

We sure packed a lot of fun into a short amount of time.  The kids did great.  Kind of feels like we are on the brink of being able to take some fun vacations with this crew!!  Great memories.

Elizabeth's Wedding...the Festivities

Oh what a weekend.  We had a blast in Atlanta.  First, the festivities.  And because there are enough pictures from those events, I'll do another post on our tourist attractions!

Friday night we arrived just in time for me to get to the rehearsal.  Chris and the boys hung out at the hotel and later met us at Elizabeth and David's new home for the rehearsal dinner.  Didn't Daddy do a good job getting all these monkey's dressed?

We had a great time visiting with lots of family.  Unfortunately, I didn't snap my camera quite enough.

On Saturday, the sisters and Merrill gathered in Elizabeth's room to help her get dressed.  It was wonderful girl time.  Before we knew it, it was time to get to the church.  It was a rainy morning, but we were able to snap some shots outside.

On to the reception.  Elizabeth and David chose a nice restaurant for their reception site.  It was a seated dinner which makes having four boys a little difficult.  Fortunately, Elizabeth thought through this and chose a spot with a Bocce ball court and tables for them to eat outdoors!  Score!  Everybody's happy!!

In addition to the Bocce ball, Elizabeth and David hired a Jedi Master to give the kids Jedi training during the dinner.  Needless to say, my boys were quite entertained!

There really are not words for what a wonderful time we all had.  Our boys were great and I love that Elizabeth and David wanted them to be apart of all of the festivities.  I loved watching them running around and playing with their cousins.  Such special memories.  Elizabeth did an incredible job planning the whole weekend.  Too much fun!

I Have Been Blessed

by the life of our sweet dog, Roxy.  She's our snuggle partner, running partner, and playing partner.  She's always here to welcome us with a wagging tail.

And now she has been blessed by our Rector!

Unfortunately, this bite occurred the morning of picture day for these two!  Don't feel too bad for John...William had a worse bite on his back.  The good news is that they only bite each other!!
