Holy Week Preparations

Holy Week was busy here...preparing for the boys to have a week off for Springbreak, preparing for a church egg hunt/reception, preparing for a dinner for 16 at our house, and on and on!  In the midst, we attempted to make it to some church services too.

Before going to the Maundy Thursday service, we had a Seder dinner here at our house.  Through my Catechesis training, I have studied the history of the Eucharist and it's basis in the Passover supper.  I thought a Seder dinner together would be a fun way to experience Maundy Thursday.  We used a liturgy from Ann Voskamp's website: aholyexperience.com. 

Some were more involved than others...

 

 

And then today we dyed eggs for our family Easter egg hunt on Sunday morning.  This activity is always a hit with the boys!

 

 

 

 

And now we are ready for Easter Sunday!!
