A Weekend of Performances

Really, I should say four days of performances.  It started with William singing on the red steps on Friday.  Read about it here.

First some weekend fun.  Friday night we drove through Mobile's new Christmas in Lights.  It was pretty cool.  The lights are synchronized to music.  It felt a little lazy driving through and not walking but with Philip limited in his walking it was a good fit.

On Saturday, we took the day off from performing!  We headed to the outlets to do a little shopping and have lunch at Lulu's.  Always a hit with this crowd!

Sunday started as usual with our time in the atrium.  Have to share this shot of Daniel.  Synthesis...or processing all the things we have learned in the 3-6 atrium...is a huge part of the 6-9 atrium.  Love this shot of Daniel with his Bible, prophecy cards, infancy narratives, and the Lord's Prayer.  He's making a list of all the different names given to Jesus.

We hustled from Trinity to Westminster to see John and his class perform during their worship time.  Love watching him sing!

Sweet big brothers behaved well through the service!

Sunday evening brought Trinity's Joyful Night.  Philip was a wise man, Daniel and William were shepherds, and John a sheep.  Everyone did well.

Dee, GranGran, and PopPop came to cheer everyone on.  We all had dinner together after the show!

Each year we get a visit from St. Nicholas.  He favors those fans of the University of Alabama and hands out chocolate from a Crown Royal sack.  Strange?  Maybe.

Monday morning Philip and the whole third grade performed on the red steps.  Love hearing these little voices.

Finally capped off the day with a Christmas party for John's class.

Whew!  What a busy few days.  Still more to come.  We will be glad when school is out and we can relax!
