It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

We spent the weekend getting the house decorated for Christmas!  The boys were very helpful this year.  I think the tree was put up in record time (and with only one ornament broken!!).


We started with the boxes from the attic.  Setting up the Nativity scene is always a hit!

Then it was outside for our tacky...yet fun...yard art!

Then a quick trip to pick out a tree.  Chris and I are so easy on this front.  Bought the first one we looked at!

Some are more help than others...

With our work done, we headed outside to the porch to eat ribs and watch Alabama in the SEC championship game!

Sunday night we headed over to some friends church for their Christmas pageant.  The boys were entertained...each having school friends in the play!  We also enjoyed hot chocolate and crafts after the play.

It was a great weekend.  We are ready for this Christmas season!!
