New window and door are in and masonry to fill the old holes is almost complete! (Actually, that isn't our actual door...just a construction door, but the placement is new.)
The plumbers and electricians have been busy this week getting things together. Still a little work to be done on that front, but sheetrock should go up sometime next week! Hopefully, you can see the can lights in the ceiling and the plumbing for the kitchen sink.
A view of the new entrances to the kitchen. On the left, you can see the old doorway from the dining room to the butler's pantry. Next to it is the new doorway from the dining room and also the new entrance way from the hall/foyer. We are hoping this will help with the flow issues our old design brought.
I'm off to the see the cabinets tomorrow...they are almost complete! Very, very exciting!
