Summer birthdays are hard. Hard for Momma to get out and do shopping alone. So this is how we roll in Walmart.
He was adamant that this bike was not the right one because it had training wheels. It took some convincing that the wheels could easily be removed!
We celebrated with lunch for the family.
Daniel chose the menu...ribs, macaroni and cheese, and peas. I threw in a salad for the adults. And a smores ice cream cake for the birthday cake! He also chose to stay in his pajamas all day!

Daniel, six years after surprising me by coming into the world four weeks early, you continue to surprise me everyday. You are incredibly bright. Big hearted. Extremely messy. Best snuggler. Shy in groups...center of the party when comfortable. You are Daniel...you are you. We are lucky.
