We have enjoyed our little taste of Mardi Gras. We've been to the Ashland Place pre-school parade (wish I had pictures...the day was beautiful...so fun to picnic at GranGran's and then walk to the parade!) and two downtown parades.
One parade we attempted to find Philip's pre-school teacher...we even made a sign!
This year was the first that no one has cried. Philip loves to ride on his Daddy's shoulders and try to catch things. Daniel loves to be held or to stand on the barricade. He simply wants to see the action. William prefers to stand on the ground and dance to the bands!
We have had many a parade at the house too. Some are outside...complete with masks...
Others in the kitchen, on the porch, or wherever the mood strikes!
Philip even had one at school! William caught the most loot!
I'm afraid our Mardi Grasing is over though. We leave Friday for our last vacation as a family of five!
